Amitabh Bachchan’s Kaun Banega Crorepati 5 improves channel Sony ranking
When Big B is on small screen, nothing can beat him! Amitabh Bachchan’s show Kaun Banega Crorepati 5 has helped Sony Entertainment Television to grab the No. 2 position ahead of Colors.
Sony Entertainment Television added 50 GRPs (gross rating points) to take its total to 245 points in a week that saw the return of Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 5 on the channel.
Colors has slipped to No. 3 position with 232 GRPs, as per TAM data for the week that ended on 20 August.
Star Plus continues to rule with 297 GRPs (277 in previous week) while Zee TV is in fourth place for the second consecutive week with 194 GRPs (190 in trailing week), according to TAM data.
